In the heart of Frankfurt, embedded in the stylish Flemings Selection Hotel, Occhio d’Oro is a venue where classically elegant charm and Tuscan cuisine collide. The Restaurant is located in the heart of the banking district. During the day the roof terrace provides a wonderful view over "Mainhatten". In the evening, the landscape is transformed into a sea of lights. Our kitchen lead by Andreas Hoffmann brings the flavors of Tuscany to Frankfurt with small plates that follow our modern shared dining philosophy.






You are the head of the gastronomic flagship of the Flemings Selection Hotel Frankfurt-City "Occhio d'Oro". In this position, you will create unique experiences for our dinner and bar guests. You offer the highest level of service paired with ease. Thanks to your experience, your passion, your pleasure and your love of gastronomy, you strive to achieve a high level of performance and professionalism, guaranteeing a smooth and seamless commercial process, while remaining human.





All of the Maître d’Hôtel actions are guided by the Flemings Blueprint and the vision "We create the ideal hotel, a place Even Better Than Home". We don't want stars or toques - we want to make the Occhio d'Oro with you the strongest Italian in Frankfurt. The place where you want to be - and have to be. We are looking for a Maître d’Hôtel who takes ownership of this restaurant and becomes the new face





  • Lead by example while establishing and maintaining open, respectful, and trust-funded relationships with coworkers

  • Stimulate staff retention by promoting a positive work environment and growth

  • Develop training on various topics such as service experience, trends and ingredients

  • Improve service quality and guest experience

  • Act as a host and embody the restaurant's role model

  • Monitor operations and continuously look for improvements

  • Develop an upsell strategy and enforce its implementation







  • Prepare regular reports for upper management

  • Monitor and optimise costs

  • Manage and supervise events sales

  • Further develop the wine list with a focus on Italy & Germany

  • Calculate and monitor sales

  • Menu engineering







  • Full-time availability

  • Training/studies in the hotel/catering industry or comparable background

  • Professional experience of at least 3 years in a comparable position

  • Professional competencies in Food & Beverage

  • Excellent written and spoken German (C1 level)

  • Fluency in English and another foreign language is a plus

  • Strong knowledge of wine or sommelier

  • Strong social skills with friendly behaviour

  • Entrepreneurial thinking

  • Host mentality









  • Full-time fixed contract

  • A competitive salary ranging from 4000 - 5000 € gross per month plus 10% variable
